First, before we tell you how the software works, we would like to tell you how it came to be. The founders of Bionic Chess Software Inc., are all players who learned to play the game in their mid teens. After taking lessons with Grand Masters (GMs) and various master level players and seeing no improvement, we became frustrated to the point that we felt compelled to do something. So, we began the mission of trying to identify a unique training system that would allow players of all ages, levels, and abilities to improve their chess playing skills in a short period of time. After doing all the research on what it takes to turn an amateur player into a master, Bionic Chess was born.

Bionic Chess training system was founded on the four following basic principles.

  1. Memory : It is a proven fact that when GMs play a game of chess they spend the majority of their time recalling the positions from memory, which gives them confidence to make the right move, whilst lower rank players spend more time trying to calculate the correct move.   2. Visualization : Most players lack what we call visualization, that is the ability to form a mental image of the game. Bionic Chess enhances that function by including exercises/drills to improve a player’s vision of the board, pieces, moves and calculation.
  3. Tactics : According to the majority of chess book authors, most players can become masters by studying “Tactics, Tactics, and more Tactics”. In fact one author (use the authors name for authentication & add foot notes for reliability) claims until you are rated 1800 USCF, your first, middle, and last names should be Tactics.
  4. Unique combination of training methods : Bionic Chess is the only chess training product to further combine standard chess training methods with the optional Brain Entrainment techniques to place your brain in the optimal state for studying/memorizing thousands of positions. With this optional technique you will be able to recall a higher percentage of what you study.
Even though most players will focus most of their attention on studying “tactics” we believe that some understanding of all aspect of the game is helpful. That is why, Bionic Chess training system allows you to study all areas of chess, from openings to endgames. The following is a breakdown of how the system works.

The Bionic Chess training software can be downloaded for FREE, and includes a free training module (Learn to Play). The free software can use by anyone who wants to learn to play the game. All other modules can be purchased and downloaded individually according to your specific needs.
